Sonnet (Drunk Driving)

Tonight I wear my body like a weapon
Encased in ruby dress and gold adornment
To find my target and with beauty stun
Some handsome stranger in my bed content.
What fool would possess youth and not misuse it
Not give yourself to shadows in the dark
Expose your throat to mice and men, commit
To running circles around closed carparks.
The thrill of air kissing along gooseflesh
The liquid burning fast and fierce within
And sweaty skin with chilled fingers caress
Have you ever tasted so sweet a sin?
The night is young no longer, it’s midnight.
Let’s rendezvous next morning, we just might–
